Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Andrew Regis Declay April 8, 1947 ~ May 3, 2014 Andrew Regis Declay, “Reese”, who was born on April 8, 1947, went home to our Heavenly Father on May 3, 2014, in Mesa, AZ. Reese had a green thumb. He liked to plant flowers and trees and everything he planted grew well. He was a helping hand and was a hard worker. He loved to cook for others. Over the years, he worked at Hawley Lake and also at Sunrise Ski resort. He cared for homeless people and often fed and clothed them. He was just always there for the family. Reese is survived by his wife of 27 years Veronica Declay, son Carl Lee Edwards, dauthter Danielle Polly Cosay, “Baby Boy” Khaydin Ira Cosay, stepdaughters Ella Bennett, Rosie Baylish, Sue Bennett, Joy Keams, son in laws Jonathan Baylish Sr., Joe Keams, brothers Arnold Declay, Alexander & Sandra Declay, Delbert & Shirley Declay, 39 grandgrandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Reese will be brought back to his residence in Turkey Creek on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. for a two night wake. His funeral will be Monday, May 12, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Canyon Day Miracle Church, with Pastor Leroy Tate officiating. Interment will be at the Canyon Day Cemetery, Whiteriver, AZ.
