Lavieve Rogers Geiger of Snowflake died peacefully Monday, May 5, 2014. She was born Nov. 24, 1924 in Snowflake to Wilford and Wilmirth Rogers.
Lavieve married Leland Ray Geiger, the love of her life for 56 years, Oct. 15, 1941 in Snowflake. They were later sealed in the Mesa Temple.
They are the parents of seven children: Steven Leland Geiger (Carole), Carol Lee Sherwood (James), Lola Ann Geiger (deceased), Luana Solomon (Ronald), Glenda Elaine LaBrake (William), James Wilford Geiger (Verda) and Leland Ray Geiger Jr. (Jackie).
Lavieve spent many years in service to her family, friends and church. She served as relief society president, primary stake board, primary teacher, homemaking leader and worked with the youth.
She is survived by two sisters: Lorna Johnson (Wendell) of Colville, Wash. and Mary Lue Barnes (Kenneth) of Snowflake; six children, 41 grandchildren, 128 great-grandchildren with four on the way, 17 great-great-grandchildren with two on the way.
