Joseph Xavier Heal
(February 22, 1938 - May 6, 2014)
Joseph Xavier Heal, 76, passed away on May 6, 2014 in Lakeside, AZ.
Joe was born in Flint, Michigan on February 22, 1938 to Frank and Elizabeth Heal. He spent his early life in Lakeside, AZ, before graduating from Lakeside High School and afterward getting his degree from NAU (then known as Arizona State College).
He married Marilyn Rhoton in July of 1963, and raised two daughters, Jamie Heal Hall and Tanya Heal. Joe was an avid horseman and mechanic, he also taught courses at Central Arizona College for thirty-two years while simultaneously maintaining a consulting job for the City of Phoenix.
He was a very hard worker and was a jack of all trades, fixing anything that needed to be fixed. Joe gained the respect of everyone he met, and his main priority in life was to make sure that he took care of his family.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Marilyn Heal, his daughter Jamie Hall, his son-in-law Shane Hall, four grandchildren, Liesl, Landon, Lexis, and Levi Hall, who he often said were the light of his life. He is also survived by three of his brothers: John "Jock" Heal, Tony Heal, and Tim Heal and One Sister: Rosemary Decker. He is preceded in death by his Daughter: Tanya Heal and his brother; Jim Heal.
Joe’s life will always be celebrated by his friends and family. Services will be held on Saturday, May 10, at the Lakeside LDS Stake Center at 1:00 PM.
