HOBEIN, Denise

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 24, 2008, p. Denise Wolfe Hobein of Encinitas, Calif., passed away April 12. Denise was born February 11, 1956 in Clinton, S.C. She relocated to the West Coast and made Encinitas her home with husband John. She was a loving mother to Paul Justin Black, 29, and Elizabeth (Beth) Hobein. She is also survived by her mother Betty Wolfe O’Dell of Hohenwald, Tenn., sister Jean Bell of Wickenburg, Ariz., brother James E. Wolfe of S.C., niece Breanne Bell of Phoenix, Ariz., and nephew Nicholas Bell of Austin, Texas. In addition, Denise is survived by numerous neighborhood “adopted” children, whose lives were touched by this warm, caring, and nurturing mother in both San Marcos and Encinitas. A private family service at sea will be conducted on Saturday (April 26). As an animal lover and “mom” to Chika, her small dog, the family is asking that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Rancho Coastal Animal Society at 389 Requezo Street. Encinitas, CA 92024.
