Peggy Keith Lindsey, 80, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away on the morning of Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014. She was surrounded by the love of her children.
Born on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 1933, to Dwight and Velma Keith of Bentonville, Ark., Peggy graduated from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Neb., and attended the University of Nebraska where she studied elementary education and English.
Peggy worked for more than 30 years in America's travel industry, serving United Airlines (UAL) as flight attendant, insurance specialist, call center supervisor, and manager of in-flight services; Walt Disney Productions as executive chief flight attendant for corporate aircraft; and Maritz Travel as director of charter travel.
Peggy was also active with Clipped Wings, a national philanthropic organization of UAL flight attendants serving the needs of the intellectually disabled. Peggy served Clipped Wings as national president, chapter president and national editor, and was the recipient of the organization's highest honor, a Distinguished Service Award. Peggy was also member of the Arizona State Association of Parliamentarians.
Peggy is lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Suzanne Marie Hart of Medford, Ore., Kristen Lindsey-Downs of San Francisco, Calif., and Nancy Meacham-Masters of Minneapolis, Minn.; and her granddaughters, Simone and Aidyn Opal.
