The Payson Roundup, Payson, Arizona, Friday, May 09, 2014 Robert Lee Steininger January 25, 1928 - April 28, 2014 Robert Lee Steininger, 86, passed away peacefully April 28, 2014 at Hospice Compassus in Payson. He was born Jan. 25, 1928 in Dallas, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He grew up in Detroit with his three brothers and two sisters. His wife Helyn passed away with cancer in 2005 after 50-plus years of marriage. He enjoyed horse racing, playing cards, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his son, Mark Steininger; his daughter, Debra Horton; along with four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Robert Steininger will be greatly missed. May God Bless the Memory of Robert Lee Steininger.
