SHIEW, Travis Wade

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Friday, May 09, 2014 Travis Wade Shiew passed away May 3, 2014 while working in Colorado. He is survived by his parents Jim and Duree Shiew, sister Jada Brown and niece Chelsea Brown. He was born July 3rd 1974 in Flagstaff, AZ. Travis was raised on his families working cattle ranch where he learned to rope and ride colts. He had the patience and talent to train horses, and loved doing it to his last day. He graduated from Coconino High School where he competed in the Arizona High School Rodeo Association and won the state championship for saddle bronc riding in 1992. He received a scholarship to CAC in Coolidge, AZ. where he finished 2 years. After finishing college he started to work for different construction companies throughout Flagstaff. When he wasn’t on a construction site he was working on various cattle ranches. Travis loved to hunt, golf, rope and pretty much anything that had to do with the outdoors. He had a love for life, and always had a smile on his face. Travis will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
