HEIKKILA, Steven William (Steve)

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 Steven William “Steve” Heikkila, age 60, of Linn Valley, Kans. passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. He was born on Sept. 24, 1953 at Hurley, Wis., the son of William and Virginia Polso Heikkila. After graduation from high school, Steve received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University and began a career in the oil industry. He married Patsy Hamann. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and watching wildlife. He was preceeded in death by a brother, David. He is survived by his wife, Patsy; parents, William and Virginia Heikkila; children, Matt Heikkila, Eric Heikkila, Chrissy Heikkila and Jenny Furrey; a brother, Jeff Heikkila; and grandchildren, Ella, Ben, Macey, Mara, Kasen, Chloe, Claire and Max.
