Mary Lou Erwin passed away May 9, 2014, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. She was born in Waterloo, Iowa, on June 16, 1941.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Mahlon Erwin; children Michelle and Bill Solar of Virginia, Mahlon II and Dana Erwin of Colorado, and Mark and Ysela Erwin of Colorado; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her brother, Stan Smith; and her parents, Edward and Pauline Smith.

Mary was a devoted member of Living Faith Church in Prescott Valley. She was an avid reader and enjoyed writing poems. Mary was very proud of her family and grandchildren.

Services will take place 11 a.m. May 17, 2014, at Living Faith.
