The Payson Roundup, Payson, Arizona, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 Violet L. Price U.S. Veteran October 5, 1023 - May 5, 2014 Violet L. Price, born Oct. 5, 1923 in Monroe, Wisc., passed away at her home in Colcord Estates on Monday May 5, 2014, where she lived since April, 2006. She is predeceased by her loving husband Lew and son Roger. She is survived by her daughters, Anne Notz and husband Miles, Mari and Joanie Price; grandsons, David Price and Michael and Matt Notz; and brothers, Roger Bushnell in Wisconsin and Lloyd Bushnell in Sun City, Ariz. Violet served in the Navy in WWII where she met her husband. She was active in the DAR and held various positions throughout the organization. She worked with the state ROTC programs and also volunteered at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
