The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/16/2014 Stanley Dunlap entered into rest May 7, 2014, in Tucson. He was born March 10, 1930, in Whiteriver. Stanley is survived by his nephew, Modesto (Susie) Dunlap Sr.; niece Maxine (Dunlap) Tortice; cousins Mercer Standing Jr., Myra S. Hawkins, Roy Standing, June Dunlap, David Dunlap, Harold Dunlap, Veda Alchesay, Walter Sanchez, Blossom Sanchez, Regina Palmer; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lois Dunlap, and mother Mollie Dunlap. Stanley’s body was brought home to NW Locust Street #5 May 15 for a one-night wake in Whiteriver. A home service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 16, at the family residence in Whiteriver, with Pastor Joel Sutton officiating. Interment will be at the Canyon Day Cemetery in Canyon Day. Manzanita Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
