Leota June "Lee" Swiatlowski, 71, passed away at her home on Monday,
June 06, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on June 30, 1933 in
Keokuk, Iowa.
Lee graduated from Keokuk High Schooland move to California in the early
fifties. Lee found a home in the semi-conductor field while living in
Silicone Valley (Sunnyvale, CA.)
Lee retired from TRW in Redondo Beach, CA. as a senior lab techinician
in 1992. She and her husband, Stan moved to Lake Havasu City in June of
1993. Lee loved the Lake and was a fisherman, boater, played darts at
the lodges and was a very good bowler. She was an Elkette Member and
Charter member in the Elks Yacht club lodge 2399. Lee was also a member
of FOE Lodge #4299 and the American Legion Auxillary Post # 52. All that
knew Lee and her great sense of humor and kindness will sorely miss her.
She was a great lady, her family said.
Lee is survived by her husband, Stan Swiatzowski of Lake Havasu City,
AZ.; sister, Joy Stanton of Sunnyvale, CA.; children, Robert William
West Jr. and family of Yerington, Nevada,Michael Laverne West and Family
of Keokuk, Iowa, Joy Vivian Limachek and family of Kona, Hawaii and
Victor Karl and Marie West of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; granchildren,
Jennifer, Shannon and JR of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; Lee had a total of 9
grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 09, 2005 at Our
Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church with Father Fidelis officiating.
Interment will be at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Contributions can be
made in Lee's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, LHC, AZ. 86405.
