He was born on May 16, 1939 in Winslow, Navajo County, Arizona to his parents, the late James Merrill and Juanita Lucille (Jones) Young. Merrill was owner of Young Beer Distribution in Holbrook for many, many years. He is survived by 2 children: Jack Merrill Young of Holbrook and Juanita Young. He was born May 16, 1939, in Winslow to the late James Merrill and Juanita Lucille (Jones) Young. Merrill owned Young Beer Distribution in Holbrook for many, many years. He is survived by three children: Frank Young, J. Merrill Young and “Johnnie” Young; three stepchildren; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, James Merrill Young, mother Juanita Lucille Jones Young, brother David Neil Young, granddaughter Jessica LaDawn Young and wife Sharon Young. A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 23, at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 409 First Ave. in Holbrook. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at the Holbrook Elks Lodge, 714 Elkdom Ave. in Holbrook. Burial will follow at the Holbrook Cemetery.
