GARCELON, Joan A

Albany Times Union (NY) Sunday, January 20, 2013 Joan A Bucci Garcelon, 77, of Westmere, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Mrs Garcelon was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Anthony Bucci and Grace Rapisarda Bucci. She lived in the area most of her life, but had lived in Arizona for four years and Long Island for a few years. She was a communicant of Christ the King Church, and worked for a time for Western Auto. She worked for many years in banking, retiring as a branch manager for Trustco Bank. Mrs Garcelon is survived by her beloved husband, Robert W Garcelon; her children, Robert A Garcelon (Johanna) of Barre, VT, Anthony E Garcelon (Lisa) of Westmere, Maurice A Garcelon (Vicky) of Rotterdam and Paul R Garcelon (Kim) of Westmere; her sister, Shirley Valouch of Wickenburg, Ariz; and by 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hans Funeral Home, Albany.
