Julie Ann Ellis, 51, of Wichita, Kan., died May 11, 2014, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.

Julie was born Dec. 9, 1962, in Minneapolis, Minn. She was a 1980 graduate of Glenwood High School in Minnesota; served in the U.S. Army and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. She married James Ellis on April 26, 1981.

She is survived by her husband James; children: Janna (Shane) Kepley of Lake Worth, Fla.; Jeremy of Mesa and Janine (Scott) Sanford of Phoenix; two granddaughters, Ashlyn and Rebeka Sanford; parents John and Dolores Jackson of Nutrioso; sisters: Jeanne (Jerry) Johnston, Janet (Rebecca) Jackson and Jennifer (Shawn) Smith, all of Phoenix; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Springerville in early fall.
