The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, May 21, 2014 Carolyn Gustofason passed away peacefully on April 3. She was born in Evansville, Ind., on June 15, 1950. At six months of age she moved to Congress, then at approximately 5 years old she moved to Yuma where she spent her formative years. She moved to Wickenburg 10 years ago to live with her sister, Barbara Craig. The sisters sang karaoke at the American Legion Post 12 on a regular basis. Carolyn also sang with two popular bands in Yuma. She was mesmerizing when she sang. Her voice was pure talent. Her other hobbies included puzzles, making pictures out of puzzles, crochet and doll making. Carolyn is survived by her husband Tim Gustofason; daughters, Carrie Berry and Tabatha Hardy; grandchildren, Emilley, Kadance and Skylor; sisters, Barbara Craig, Nancy Goodman and Patricia Golding; and brother, Charles Durham; and her uncle Wilbur Langford who raised her and many other family members. Carolyn will be dearly missed now that she has joined her mother in heaven and is surely singing with the angels.
