SCARLETT, Rodger Lee


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Thursday, May 22, 2014 - Rodger Lee Scarlett, age 61, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 18, 1952 in Lakewood, Calif. to Virginia (Nash) Jansen and Lester Scarlett. Rodger grew up in the Los Angeles area most of his life, until moving to Lake Havasu City in 1998, so he could be closer to family. He worked as a handyman and loved going to and being out on the lake. Rodger was a loving and caring man who always tried to make everyone laugh, no matter what the situation. He was a loving father, a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him. Rodger is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Jeff Allen) Scarlett, Melisa (Blaise) Cunningham and Desiree (Randy) Coates; 11 grandchildren, Jaelynn, Jasmine, Jacob, Johnathan, Jordan, Collin, Hayden, Tenley, Anthony, Benjamin and Christian; his mother, Virginia Jansen; one sister, Debbie Beayrd; one brother, Jim Scarlett (Cowboy); three nieces, Dakota Beayrd, Cheyenne (Jeremy Crook) Beayrd and Tiffeny (Joe Cain) Barone-Nunes; three great-nephews, Jaxsynn, Kahne and Bryce, along with extended family and many others.
