Evangeline "Eva" Neal passed away peacefully on May 19, 2014, surrounded
by family in Kingman.
Eva Neal was born Nov. 19, 1930, in Blythe, Calif., to Michael and
Catalina Lopez. She is survived by her sister, Emmy Guilin; her
children, Rachel Rincon, Ava Robinson (Bill), Tim, Paul (Julie), Trudy
(Joe) and Rhamona Grabenstien (Tony); her daughter-in-law, Donni Rincon;
12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was married twice; first to Richard Rincon, with whom she had two
children; and later to Clifford Neal, with whom she had five. In 1964,
she moved with her children to the Kingman area, where she lived until
she died.
Eva was a schoolteacher at Hackberry Elementary School and postmaster at
Valentine followed by the Chloride Post Office, where she retired. She
was also active as a Belle of the St. Mary Catholic Church, involved
with Mohave County 4-H and was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul.
Though this adventure may be over, her journey continues in the memories
and the lives of those of us who knew and loved her. Please join us to
celebrate her life at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary Catholic Church, 302 E.
Spring St., for funeral mass and a reception to follow.
