MYERS, Victor Earl (Vic)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, March 24, 2007 Victor Earl Myers (Vic) went to be with our Lord on March 11, 2007, in Prescott, Arizona. Vic was born on Dec. 9, 1920, in McComb, Miss. where he grew up. Vic married Dorothy Ann Holiday on Aug. 1, 1943, and made a career in the USMC as a helicopter pilot, retiring in 1962 as a Major. He then entered a second career as a Farmers Ins. agent for 24 years, retiring in 1986. Vic is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy; his son, Victor E. Myers Jr. (Rocky) and his wife Becky; his daughter, Lynn E Freedman and her husband, Harold; and granddaughter, Heather N. Mellstrom and her husband David. A memorial service will be at the Veterans Hospital Chapel in Prescott, Arizona, on March 30 at 1:30 p.m. The interment will follow with full military honors in Prescott National Cemetery.
