Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, Arizona Gordon Raymond Williams October 17, 1930 ~ May 15, 2014 S/Sgt. (Ret) Gordon (Sarge) Raymond Williams Sr. of Prescott, Az. passed away May 15, 2014 with some of his loving family at his side. Gordon who was 83 was born in Syracuse N.Y, on October 17th 1930 to Clarence and Fern Williams. Gordon join the Army in Jan 1946 to July 1950 then Marines in July 1950 to July 1954 and then back in Army from Jan 1955 to July 1969. He served in the Korea and Vietnam War. He traveled a lot with his family being stationed in Alaska, Maryland, Japan, Washington, Germany and New York. He loved people always going out of his way to talk to anyone especially children. Gordon is survived by his wife of 38 years Kathleen Rose, a brother Bob Williams, children Karen husband Ron, Tina husband Jon, Gail husband Terry, Larry wife Brenda, David, Jill, Gordon Jr. 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
