Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Paul Almon Whipple October 3, 1945 - May 24, 2014 Paul Whipple, age 68, of Deming, New Mexico, entered into eternal life Saturday morning, May 24, 2014, at the Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, following a lengthy illness. Paul leaves behind: his wife, Patti, of Deming; two daughters, L'Rae Whipple, of Canada and Kristi Reay, of Gilbert, Arizona; five sons, Stratton Whipple, of Mesa, Arizona, Austin Whipple, of Mesa, Arizona, Aaron Whipple, of Gilbert, Arizona Jay Whipple, of Mesa, Arizona and Phillip Reay, of Cottonwood, Arizona; four sisters, Colleen McLaws (Bob), of Joseph City, Arizona, Teresa Bigler (Dan), of Pima, Roanna Luster (Mike), of Bloomfield, New Mexico and Mervie Farnsworth (Lewis), of Yuma, Arizona; two brothers, Daryl, of Idaho and Rex (Mary), of Phoenix, Arizona; and numerous grandchildren. Paul was predeceased by: his mother and father, Myrl and Lyle Whipple; a sister, Donaldine; and two brothers, Lawrence and Lyle Ray. Funeral services for Paul will be conducted Friday afternoon, May 30, 2014, at 4:00 p.m., at the Deming L.D.S. Chapel by Bishop Nicoll, of the Deming First Ward. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m., at the Deming L.D.S. Chapel Relief Society Room.
