JORDAN, Opal Lee

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Wednesday, May 28, 2014 Opal Lee Jordan (Holland) 93, passed away May 3, 2014 in Gilbert, Ariz. with family at her side. She was born Aug. 4, 1920 in Latimer County Oklahoma. She was married to Elmo Jordan and had two sons, Donald and Jackie Lavern. They moved to Globe, Ariz. in 1948. They owned and operated several businesses, most popular being their Jordan’s Furniture and Jewels Dress Shop. They enjoyed to travel, especially trips to Mexico, Las Vegas and deep sea fishing. Opal and Elmo returned to Oklahoma to retire. Opal is survived by grandson, Chris Jordan and wife Virginia; daughter-in-law, Patricia Jordan; two great-great granddaughters, Christy and Chantel; two great-great grandsons, Drake and Colton; and one great-great-great granddaughter, Taylor, all of Gilbert, Ariz. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews in Oklahoma. Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Jordan; her two sons, Donald Jordan and Jackie Lavern Jordan; and her grandson, Jeffery W Jordan. She is now free to rest eternally with her family.
