Linda Racine, a long time resident of Alta Loma, Calif. and Lake Havasu
City, died Thursday the 22nd of May 2014 in her home from a heart
attack, at the age of 64. Mrs. Racine is survived by her loving husband
of 45 years, Robert Racine, Jr.; her son, Richard Racine, Sr.; her
grandson, Richard Racine, Jr., and her sweet dog, Eva.
Linda, a cancer survivor, enjoyed her retirement by running a thriving
business with her husband and loved traveling with him and friends. She
had a great smile, an infectious laugh and a whole lot of attitude.
Always a woman of high energy, she loved cooking and shopping, was
amazingly social with friends and family and had a huge heart for dogs.
Over the years she fostered a number of canine rescues and showed them
all the care needed for them to become part of her loving family. In the
famous words of Abraham Lincoln, “…in the end, it’s not the years in
your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” Linda packed a lot
of life into her years, and we are grateful for that time.
Services will be private and for family only. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior’s Project, 4899
Belfort Rd., Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256 or contact
