Christopher William Dorssey, born May 11, 1998 passed away May 27, 2014
at the young age of 16. He is survived by his mother, Jan; father,
David; sister, Kyrsten; brother, Joseph; grandmothers, Janet and
Geraldine; grandfather Jose; five aunts; four uncles and 13 cousins.
Chris was a student at Lake Havasu High School and is loved by many
students and teachers. He really enjoyed wood shop and PE. He loved
playing basketball with the guys on Sunday evenings, scuba diving with
his friend Adam, weight training with his uncle Jon, mountain biking
with his uncle Joe and fishing with his grandfather.
Chris especially loved spending time with his best friend and sister,
Kyrsten, who always included him wherever she was going. He truly
enjoyed life and loved sharing it with others. Because of love for his
God Jehovah he dedicated himself and was baptized May 7, 2011 as one of
Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Romans 14:8 - For if we live, we live to Jehovah, and if we die, we die
to Jehovah. So both, if we live and if we die, we belong to Jehovah.
Chris will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 31 at the
Aquatic Center, 100 Park Ave., Lake Havasu City.
