Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on May 27, 2014 - Florence (Flo) Adel Haslam Fanire passed away peacefully in the arms of her life partner of 17 years, Donald Fanire, on May 22, 2014, at the White Oaks Assisted Living Care Home in Kingman. She has resided of Kingman for 17 years. She was 82 years old. Born from European immigrant parents in Los Angles on Feb. 29, 1932, a red-headed leap year baby girl, she was an exceptional woman. Flo lived her life with a positive outlook and is remembered as being an upbeat, positive woman who enjoyed people. Flo loved to travel and go camping and RVing, especially at Cataract Lake, a memorable way to enjoy retirement. She enjoyed the thrill of 4-wheeling with Don. She loved to be on the go, and eating out at restaurants made her day. Flo was also an accomplished seamstress. She had resided in Bullhead City and Colton and Rialto, Calif., before coming to Kingman. Flo was married 42 years to William Haslam and was widowed in 1995. She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Donald Fanire, and children Adel Smith of San Diego, Robyn Smith of Tolleson and Bob Haslam; five grandchildren, Jody, Lindsey, Joshua, Linda, and Brenton; and three great grandchildren, Skyler, Jessie and Mikayla; and many loving friends. She retired after 20 years as a school administrator from Eisenhower High School in Rialto. She enjoyed running into the grownup alumni in town, and she could always recall their names by face.
