Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, June 1, 2014 - Billy Harris, 63, passed away May 24, 2014. He was born to Billy and Bonnie Harris in Los Angeles, Calif. in 1950. Billy and his loving wife Darlene were married in Las Vegas, thirty years ago. They moved to Arizona in 2006. Billy was a member of the NHRA, the world’s largest auto racing organization. He enjoyed racing boats and spending time on “his lake” here in Lake Havasu City. Billy was an avid dog lover and leaves behind his best K-9 friend, Chloe. Billy often shared Chloe’s favorites with her, ice cream and chicken noodle soup! He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Harris of Lake Havasu City; wife, Darlene Harris of Lake Havasu City; sons, Daniel Mason of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Billy Harris of Tucson; and daughter, Diana Harris Lark of Canyon Country, Calif. He also leaves behind five grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted into the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
