Maria attended and graduated as Salutatorian of her class from Joseph City High School, where she participated in many extra curricular activities, was a member of the National Honor Society and was a state representative at the national 4-H club congress. She worked tirelessly to organize blood drives, Relay for Life teams, and a Climb to Conquer Cancer team. Maria loved flowers, cupcakes, road trips, shopping, photography, calligraphy, scrap booking, classic cars and car shows. Her favorite car was her own red Ford Mustang convertible. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved to spend time with her family. Maria’s extended family enjoyed the family gatherings held in her home. She was proud of all of her children and loved attending music and dance recitals and sporting events.
