Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Susie J. Paul February 02, 1946 - May 17, 2014 n Loving Memory of Susie Paul Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on May 17, 2014. She was with loved ones when she peacefully and comfortably passed away. Susie was born Susan Joan Nebgen on February 2, 1946 in Winslow, Arizona. Her parents were Joseph R. Nebgen and Doreen M. Burbage Nebgen. She spent most of her life in Winslow. Susie worked for the Winslow Unified School District for many years. She enjoyed being around the kids and driving the bus. She was known by the kids as the "one who made everyone mind". She also worked at Hunt's Feed Store between her split shift at the school. She volunteered many years as the 4-H Horse Project Leader. She continued to show special interest and support the 4-H Program throughout her life. Susie loved her grandchildren, children, and friends beyond measure. She enjoyed sitting on her porch visiting with her friends, watching the grandkids work with their ;animals, gardening, and making little rocks out of big ones with her riding mower. She, considered herself as the neighborhood Weed Fairy and worked hard at keeping the weeds down. She spent the majority of her time quilting. She loved the "quilting ladies" and the time she spent with them. She loved to make people laugh and told crazy stories. Susie will be missed by many. She was proceeded in death by her "Granny" Jessie Burbage, her sister Vicky Scott, her mother Doreen Baum, and her grandson Jase Ambrose. She is survived by her daughters:' Sheila Nylund (Colby), Shanon Gose (John), and Karyn Ambrose. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kenzie Gose, Aydin Nylund, Keileigh Gose, Keegan Nylund, and Dakota Ambrose. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 31 at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Winslow.
