He met the love of his life at a dance at the Battalion (Veterans) Hall in Queens, New York, in 1953, and married Olga in 1955. From the beginning they worked as a team to decide their path in life. They were together for almost 60 years. His leadership abilities enabled him to become the President of IAM Union of TWA Chapter 1056. He was always concerned for the well being of others. He valued education and received an additional degree in Business Management. This gave him the ability to help the community in the late 1960’s. Frank and Olga were dedicated to the youth of the community, and privately owned a Disco Club for young adults and teenagers, to provide a drug/alcohol-free safe haven. He was presented with the Humanitarian Award for work in the community from the Mayor of New York. Frank was a hard worker and had a winner’s attitude for all of his endeavors. Even after retiring to Tucson, Arizona, he continued his selfless donation of his time and passion to giving to others. This was evident by 15 year of service to the Italian American Club, where he held the position of President and Treasurer. He also was a member and orator of the Sons of Italy and the Elks Club of Tucson. His outstanding abilities were a blessing to these organizations. Every member and guest looked to him for leadership and joy. He was even honored in the Arizona Daily Star for his dedication to the community. This EXTRAORDINARY man loved to surround himself with the fine arts. His biggest joy was to spend time with his loved ones. All of the children in his life looked forward to seeing him. He brought them through many adventures utilizing his story-telling gift. He made every day an event by just spending time and sharing his love. Many memories were formed by coloring Easter eggs, carving pumpkins, trips to the store, art projects, trips to Fantastics and other places, singing, dancing, going to the movies , and so much more, while surrounding each event with a scoop of ice cream. His charisma, loving support, humor, and infectious personality lightened every life that he touched.
