Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Louis J Gurrieri October 19, 1933 - May 5, 2014 Louis Gurrieri met the Lord and joined his son Louis Jr, On Monday the 5th of May 2014. He was preceded by his mother and father Antoinette and Giuseppe and brother Paul. He left behind his beloved wife of 58 years; Pauline, his three children and their families. Son Joseph and wife Mary, their children Louis, Nina, Giuseppe, daughter Maryanne Pucciarelli-Oaks and husband Michael, their children Jonathan, Christopher, and Krista, and daughter Antoinette Birk and husband Bernie and their children Jeanette, Alexander, Anthony, and Jessica. Louis was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 19th, 1933. He was a devoted husband and father working up to three jobs to take care of his family and eventually became an accomplished automotive mechanic owning his own business "L & B Carburetors". He met his wife and love of his life when he was 19 and two short years later they tied the knot and started their family. Twenty years and 4 children later Louis retired and moved his family to Phoenix, AZ in search of brighter weather. He spent his retirement tinkering with old radios, traveling the world with his wife and cooking for his family. He was the strong firm foundation that his family leaned on. He was a hilarious, brilliant, strong man. He will be loved up in heaven but woefully missed down here.
