The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, June 04, 2014 Samuel Jesse Curtis, born April 27, 1954, in Washington, Iowa, passed away on May 25 at the Phoenix, VA Medical Center. He resided in Morristown. He is survived by his wife, Phyliss; mother, Shirley Curtis of Apache Junction; children, Jenny Cole, Ben Curtis and Emily Beckler, all of Kalona, Iowa; step-children, Paula McConnell of Washington, Iowa, and Chris Farris of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; two sisters, Shirley Campbell of Phoenix and Nancy Cheek (Jeff) of Scottsdale; a brother, James (Bethany) of Washington, Iowa; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Curtis.
