He was born Feb. 7, 1932, in Canyon Day to Kalvin Tessler and Chaka Declay Tessler. A two-day wake will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, at the family residence in East Fork, 4621 Grindstone Road. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at the Fire on the Mountain Church in East Fork. Burial will follow at the Canyon Day Cemetery. He is survived by his children: Castorena Cosay, Fabian Tessler, Maynard Tessler, Ric Tessler, Lydia Palmer, Marguerita Tessay, Melanie Tessler, Nadine Clay and adopted daughter Lenora Bitt.
