McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel, Safford, Arizona McKenzie Longstreet August 20, 1949 - May 31, 2014 McKenzie Longstreet, Sr., 64, of Peridot, AZ, passed away May 31, 2014 in Globe, AZ. McKenzie was born August 20, 1949 to Harold and Grace Longstreet in San Carlos, AZ. He graduated from Ft. Thomas High School in 1969 and later that year married the love of his life, Lorraine Brown on August 15th. McKenzie liked fishing, playing his guitar, singing and family outings. He really loved to sing and entertaining his family. He also liked to play the harmonica and spending time with his grandchildren. McKenzie is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lorriane, children Valorie Pechuli, Yolanda Hopkins, Miranda Brown, Kendralyn Antonio, Eveline Longstreet, McKenzie Longstreet, Jr., McArthur Longstreet, Muriel Longstreet, Mario Longstreet and Samantha Sanchez, parents Harold Longstreet and Grace Salter, sister Frieda Dosela, 31 grandchildren and three great grandchildren on the way. He is preceded in death by his children; Margilene “Shammie”, Lorenda “Wendy” and “baby” Longstreet and brother Larry Kozie, Sr. A Wake will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Longstreet Residence in Peridot, AZ with the funeral service on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Snyder Burdette Hall in San Carlos, AZ. Interment will be in the Six Mile Cemetery in Peridot, AZ following services.
