Hobie Herron passed away on May 22, 2014 at his home in Oregon. He was a resident of Payson for 26 years. 

He served on the Town Council in Payson and was one of the best council members Payson has ever had. 

He was not afraid to vote no. He touched the hearts and minds of many people here and will be missed.
