Clarence Stewart Cook passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014. Clarence was
born June 11, 1936 in North Carolina, the youngest of seven children.
Clarence lived a life full of adventure at a time when a man could make
his own way with just a dream and some courage. Clarence was a natural
businessman who flourished in the dental business, running his own lab
in Ohio for more than 40 years.
Clarence was a fun-loving man who saw the best in everyone he met.
Clarence worked with the formerly incarcerated and gave them jobs when
most would not give them a chance. He also reached out to those children
who had lost or had no father figure at all, showing them love and
compassion. Many of those same children today flourish because of the
compassion, concern, and love Clarence showed them. One in particular
stated “The world lost a great man today, it will never be the same
without him”.
Clarence was blessed with three children Leisa Cook (husband Mike
Womble), Chris Cook (wife Lisa D Cook), and Dan Cook (wife Rema Cook).
Clarence was also blessed with a beautiful granddaughter Maisa Cook.
Clarence also taught his children to love without measure and have
compassion for those less fortunate. They are all wonderful examples of
how a man, who loved without judgment, can raise such loving children.
