Mohave Valley Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from May 25 to June 1, 2014 >>> ELEANOR "LEE" GERLACH <<< Lee Gerlach, age 91, a long-time Bullhead City, Ariz. resident passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 2:30am at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. She was born on May 9, 1923 and lived in Bullhead City where she owned, operated and taught dance at Lee's School of Dance for 50 years until she later retired at age 80. Lee, a caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, is survived by her three children, Judy Reese, Sharon Hunt and Alvin Gerlach; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was an amazing women full of fun, laughter and love. She had the privilege of working with many of the area youth, now adults, for many years. Her life has touched and influenced many. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in honor of Lee, to 710 Eastern, Kingman, AZ. This is a non-profit organization which benefits young artists and was close to Lee's heart. A celebration of her life will be held in September.
