Nancy Marie Martinez Perez, 38, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009 at her residence in Winkelman. Born in Las Cruces, N.M. on January 11, 1971, she spent 34 years in the state of Arizona. Nancy was a homemaker and worked as a waitress at Hayden Bowling and drove a truck for ASARCO. She liked volunteering for the Christmas Angel Program in Kearny. Survivors include her husband Gabriel Perez of Winkelman; daughter, Angelica Martinez of Winkelman; sons, Robert Martinez, Jr. and Matthew Martinez both of Winkelman; mother Carmen “Eva” Martinez of Winkelman; sisters, Amy (Mario) Romero of Kearny and Tracie (Ruben) Dietz of San Manuel; brother, Adam Martinez of Kearny and grand daughter, Dominique Martinez of Winkelman. Visitation was held on Friday, April 3, at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hayden. Rosary followed at 10 a.m. with services being held at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment took place at the Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden. Assisting the family was Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
