A Rosary will be 7 p.m. June 13, 2014, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St., Prescott. Funeral Mass will be 1:30 p.m. June 14, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury St., Prescott. Arrangements by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, June 12, 2014 Anna Mary (Fornara) Olsen passed peacefully into the arms of her savior on Sunday, June 8, 2014. The room at Marley House in Prescott, Ariz., was packed with loving family members and friends who had been at her side constantly during her last days. Ann was born in Jerome, Ariz., on July 26, 1930, to Angelo and Elvezia (Gilardi) Fornara. She has many Fornara and Savoini cousins still living in the Prescott area. She was preceded in death by her father, Angelo; her mother, Elvezia; and her brother, Robert. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, John Olsen; children Kathy (Steve) Sischka, Mike (Sherrill) Olsen, Dan (Barb) Olsen, and Marie (Steve) Cobb; grandchildren Kelly (Aaron) Grose, Mark Sischka, Kyle (Tasha) Olsen, Karen (Tom) Gibbs, Clint Olsen, Jeff Olsen, Kristi (Warren) Hubbard and Kari Staubus; and great-grandchildren Ally Hubbard, Liliana Sischka, Jack Grose and Landon Olsen. Ann was a gifted musician and played the piano, organ and accordion at many social events and Sacred Heart Church services throughout the years. Her true essence can be found in her extreme love for her family, her willingness to participate in the community, her loyalty to her friends, her hospitality to all who entered her home and her love of her Catholic faith. A gathering of friends will be at 6 p.m. followed by a Rosary service at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014, at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton streets in Prescott. The funeral Mass will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Sacred Heart Church, 150 Fleury St., Prescott. Final farewell and commendation will be at 3 p.m. Monday, June 16, at Prescott National Cemetery, corner of Highway 89 and Highway 69.
