Danny Rhodes died at home June 2. Danny served in the U.S. Navy from
1961 to 1965. He retired from the Iron Workers Union local #118 out of
Reno, Nev. were he was deeply respected; thereafter he moved to Lake
Havasu City. Danny worked at a golf course for the enjoyment and for the
company of his golf buddy Rick Fulmer. He was a proud member of the
Eagles Aerie #4299, LHC, where he spent his time laughing with others
and singing karaoke faithfully; he had so many that loved and
appreciated him for all his volunteer work. Danny will be deeply missed
at the Eagles #4299 by hundreds of members and the volunteers. He also
enjoyed making the fresh popcorn daily, with lots of helpers.
Danny's passions were golf, singing, dancing and watching the
Diamondbacks. He lived life to the fullest and his infamous last words
at the end of the day were, "I've learned my lesson". Thank you Danny,
for teaching us all, so many lessons. We will never forget your smile.
He was preceded in death by his father, killed in WWII, Chuck Rhodes;
mother, Eunice; John Noll and his wife, Audi Rhodes of Lake Havasu City.
Danny left behind his good friend and beloved brother, Jim Noll and
sister, Caroll Blaney both of Redding, Calif.; and his girlfriend,
Bernie Underwood, Lake Havasu City. Bernie brought such a sparkle into
Danny's life.
A celebration of life is set for 3 p.m., today at Eagles Aerie #4299,

Flowers can be sent to the Eagles Aerie #4299, 1561 Marlboro Dr. and or
