Beauford Dean Jennings, 78, of Lake Havasu City, passed away Friday,
June 6, 2014 at Lakeview Terrace. Dean was born Sept. 21, 1935 in
Upland, Calif. to Lawrence and Thelma Jennings.
He graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario, Calif. He later joined
the U.S. Navy and served in Japan for four years. After he returned to
the United States, he met the love of his life, Georgia Jennings and was
married Dec. 15, 1962, in Las Vegas, Nev. Dean and Georgia had two
beautiful daughters, Kelli and Julie.
Dean returned to school at Cal State LA and received an engineering
degree. He worked as an aerospace design engineer at General Dynamics
for 30 years. Dean then retired to Lake Havasu City and enjoyed days
filled with golfing, boating, and family time.
Dean is survived by his wife, Georgia of 51 years; daughter, Kelli Ford
from Wilmington, N.C.; daughter, Julie Haro from Lake Havasu City;
brother, Bill Jennings; sister, Joyce Flowers; granddaughter, Kayla
Ford; grandson, Daniel Haro; grandson, PFC Kyle Ford and many other
loving family members. Dean was a loving father, husband, grandfather,
and friend to all.

A celebration of life service is set for 2 p.m., Thursday, June 12 at
Lake Havasu Mortuary Chapel.
