Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Friday, June 13, 2014 >>> Jimmy Don Lyon <<< >>> June 17, 1951 — June 1, 2014 <<< Jimmy Lyon, 62, died of natural causes June 1, 2014 peacefully at home in Big River, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Doris Lyon of Lake Havasu City and his wife, Venita Lyon of Lake Havasu City, as well as his grandson Elias Lopez of Lake Havasu City. Jimmy was born in Childress, Texas. He lived most of his life in Grand Junction, Colo. and moved to Lake Havasu City 24 years ago. Jimmy worked his entire life as a construction worker; he was hard-working and dedicated to his family. He loved fishing and was a member of the North American Fishing Club. Jimmy was easygoing and a ray of sunshine that brightened the lives of those who knew him. Jimmy is survived by his siblings, Jerry, Randy and Karen Lyon; children Tana Dietz-Vnuk, Rachel Baros and James Lyon, along with 10 grandkids.
