Gayle Marie Sacco passed away June 13, 2014 at home with her family and
dog by her side. She was born Aug. 19, 1952 in Waltham, Mass., to
Theodore and Arlene Kurdis. Gayle worked for over 25 years as a
preschool teacher. She enjoyed volunteering throughout the community,
had a deep love for animals and enjoyed spending time with her family
and friends. Gayle loved life and always kept a positive, optimistic
outlook.
Gayle is survived by her long time love of 20 years, Cary Kessler; son,
Michael Sacco III and his wife Dana; daughters, Michelle Carrero and
Britteny Nulty; sisters, Allyson Dodson, Peggy Smith and Valerie Yopp.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Sacco II; sister, Mary
Karp and parents, Theodore and Arlene Kurdis.
A celebration of life will take place at Gayle’s home, Saturday, June
21, beginning at 2 p.m. for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arizona Humane Society.
