The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Thursday, June 19, 2014 Marion "Mimi" Ester Brown, 86, of Camp Verde Arizona, passed away on June 17, 2014 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Mimi was born April 10, 1928 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Gladis and Hiram Davis. Mimi worked 21 years as a crossing guard for The Town of Long Meadow, Massachusetts. She loved to dance with her husband "No No", and gardening with her rose bushes. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 68 years; Norman "No No" W. Brown; daughters, Debbie Magnani and Holly Brewer; son, Duke Brown; 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Gertrude Bialomyza, and Dorothy Huckins and her brother, Edward Davis. Visitation will be held 1-3 pm on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the chapel of Bueler Funeral Home, 143 W Arnold St. Camp Verde AZ 86322. Information provided by survivors.
