The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, June 22, 2014 Georgia Lyn (Lambson) Lange returned to her Heavenly home on June 20, 2014. Her husband of 50 years, David Lange, and each of her seven children were present to lovingly send their sweet wife and mother back to the presence of our Savior. Georgia, known as "George" to all who adored her, was born on Feb. 22, 1944, in Gallup, N.M. She spent her childhood in Ramah, N.M. before moving to Prescott in 1956. Georgia graduated from Prescott High School in 1962, and then attended Brigham Young University. She and Dave married in 1963, and journeyed through several states and countries as an Army wife and Captain. They returned to Arizona in 1970, where Dave attended law school and then settled their family permanently in Prescott in 1977. Georgia and Dave have seven children, David (Brita), Lyndee, Mark (Lucinda), Amy (Matt), Emily (Tedd), Chris (Charlotte), and Jenny (JR). The absolute joy of Georgia's life were her 35 grandchildren. Georgia was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully in various callings and touched countless numbers of lives with her selfless, loving and charitable character. She gave her all to serving her family, friends and her Savior. She was a saint to all who knew her. Georgia was preceded in death by her father, Ray Lambson; and her mother, LaVerne. She is survived by her sister, Pat Harris; her brother, Preston Lambson; her sister, Denise Ross; her husband; and each of her children; and grandchildren. A funeral service will be on Monday, June 23, 2014, at the Ruth Street Building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1001 Ruth St., Prescott. There will be a visitation at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. The grave dedication will take place on Tuesday at the National Cemetery of Arizona in Cave Creek.
