Rosalee Loas, also known as “Chop” passed away on June 18, 2014, surrounded by loved ones.
Rosalee was born August 31, 1966 to Earl Sr. and Leah Loas. Rosalee grew up in Canyon Day, graduated from Alchesay High School in 1984, attended Haskell Indian Junior College in Lawrence, KS and earned her degree in (AAS) Secretary of Science in May of 1986.
She was employed by the Indian Health Services, Headquarters in Rockville, Maryland from 1986 to June 1989. She transferred to the Phoenix area office and lived and worked in Phoenix from 1989 to 1993, she then transferred back to Whiteriver Indian Health Service and worked there from 1993.
Rosalee is survived by her parents Earl Sr. and Leah Loas, by sister Joyce Holden, brothers Earl Loas Jr., Everett Loas, Thomas Loas, companion Mike Massey, nieces Farrin and Fayrene Holden, Savannah Classay, nephews Erwin, Byron and Stanley Loas, goddaughter Alvina Riley, aunts Zema Perry, Rose Gordon, uncles Wesley Loas, Mccoy Loas, Ronald Antonio and Elchaski Antonio.
Rosalee was preceded in death by grandparents Wallace and Dora Antonio.
Rosalee enjoyed being with friends and made many jokes with her friends. She also loves her nieces and nephews very much. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was brought back on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. to her parent’s residence in Canyon Day for a two night wake.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Canyon Day Assembly of God Church.
Interment will be at the family plot in Canyon Day Cemetery.
All gospel singers and church leaders, Chairman, Vice Chairman and Council Members are welcome.
