Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Susan M Sandoval (March 4, 1929 - June 24, 2014) Susan Sandoval On Tuesday, June 24th Susan Sandoval passed away at the age of 85 years. Susan was born in Flagstaff on March 4, 1929 to Vicente Padilla Martinez and Procora (Coyita) Vergara Martinez, both deceased. She graduated from Flagstaff High School. Susan married and raised her family in Flagstaff. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Faustino Sandoval, daughter Joanna, son Michael A Sandoval (Karen) of Florida; Sisters, Matilde Liebe and Cecilla Cuevas (Pedro) of Flagstaff; brothers, Joseph Martinez (Jayme) of Maryland, Eddie Vergara (Vicki) of Phoenix; ten Grandchildren, thirteen Great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Margie R. Collins, son Raymond J. Sandoval, Grandson Anthony J. Sandoval (Florida) and sisters Helen Martinez Gonzalo and Maria Alonso. Susan’s determination, perseverance and love of family always remained strong. She was incredibly loved and will be greatly missed. In recent years Susan was fortunate to spend time with her granddaughter Antonia Sandoval. Holy Rosary will be on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Church, 16 W Cherry, Flagstaff followed by a Funeral Mass. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 201 W. University Dr., Flagstaff. Norvel Owens Mortuary is handling the funeral arrangements.
