Marie was born February 25, 1943, born to Howard and Edith Kanuho. Marie married Jimmie Dickson Sr. in 1959. She was a homemaker, Navajo Weaver, an outstanding Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She loved everyone, always had a smile on her face and made each person she came in contact with feel special. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten because she will always be in our hearts and memories. Marie Dickson is survived by her spouse: Jimmie Dickson Sr.; Children: Jimmie (Louise) Dixon Jr., Delphine (Victor) Gray, Gilbert (Jane) Dickson Sr., Gilver (Darlene) Dickson Sr., Phena Mae Dickson; Sisters: Rosabeele Walker, Arlene Kanuho, Evelyn Kanuho; Grandchildren: Orlando (Jana) Dixon, Rashelle Dixon, Calvert (Jennifer) Dixon, Shawna (Lorenzan Lorenzo) Dixon, Shanney (Rockey) Ramone, Layla Dixon, Jalene (Codell Williams) Nezzie, T.J. Dickson, Gilbert Dickson, Gilbert Dickson Jr., Shalene Dickson, Stephanie (Darius) Antonio, Victoria Gray, Sgt. Samantha Gray, Monty J. Dickson, Natasha Dickson, Cody Dickson, Gilver Dickson Jr., Cooper Dickson and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Marie is preceded in death by her parents: Howard and Edith Kanuho; sister: Rose Ann Yazzie; brother: Henry Kanuho; grandson: Delfred Dickson and grandson-in-law: Delvin Nezzie. The Viewing for Marie E. Dickson was held Saturday, June 21 2014 at 10:00 am with the Funeral Service following at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stake Center, Taylor, Arizona. Funeral arrangements were handled by Silver Creek Mortuary.
