STEIGERWALD, Ruth Magdalene

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Sunday, June 22, 2014 Steigerwald, Ruth Magdalene (Miller), 92, of Mesa, AZ entered into eternal rest on June 17, 2014 in Mesa. Ruth was born on December 9, 1921 in Albany, NY to John G. and Rose M. (Balliet) Miller. She was united in marriage with Conrad J. Steigerwald. Ruth was active in her Catholic Parishes and loved to read, garden, knit and cook. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 1999. Ruth is survived by her children: Constance Myers (Frank), Conrad J. Steigerwald, Jr. (Lorna), and Robert Steigerwald (Christine), 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a brother Leo Miller. A Prayer Service will be Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 7 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Mortuary Chapel, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa.
