THOMAS, B. Dean

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/27/2014 Beloved father, grandfather and friend B. Dean Thomas died June 18, 2014, peacefully in his sleep in Show Low. He was born Jan. 23, 1934, in La Junta, Colo., the son of John Leslie Thomas and Leorah Mamie Thomas. Dean has many friends and shared in several hobbies. At the end of life, he was able to look back on all of the places and events that he had experienced with fond memories. He is survived by his sister, Margaret Gail Thomas; brother John Wayne Thomas; sons: Robert Wade Thomas and David Dean Thomas; grandson Zachery Dean Thomas; granddaughter Alicia Renee Thomas; granddaughter Dara Michelle Vanesian; and five great-grandchildren: Dala Sumner, Daja Austin, Dana “Maddy” Vanesian, Dane Vanesian and Maryann Popovich. A memorial service was held June 24 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. Ninth St. in Show Low. Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel of Show Low handled arrangements.
