Dr. Jonathan Bromberg, 67, of Flagstaff and Phoenix, Arizona, died peacefully Saturday, June 14, 2014 at his home in Phoenix surrounded by his family. He was born on March 17, 1947 to Ruth and Oscar Bromberg of Pattison New Jersey.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eunice Bromberg, his mother Ruth, siblings Bernard, Marcia and Paulette, his son Kenneth, his three daughters Jennifer, Jacquie, Janette, and 8 Grandchildren: Jazmine, Ciara, Max, Garrett, Jules, Maddie, Rendle, and Chase.
Dr Bromberg was Chief of Orthopedics at Tuba City Regional Healthcare Corporation on the Navajo Reservation. He began practicing as an orthopedic surgeon in the Philadelphia area after serving in the Air Force.
In addition to his duties in Tuba City, he recognized the need for clinics to serve those in the outlying areas of the reservation. His Clinics, Orthopedic Clinic in Tuba City and Sacred Peaks in Flagstaff benefited those of the Navajo Nation.
There will be no services. In support of life, his body was donated to advance medicine.
